Job description

Senior Web Engineer | Raleigh, NC (Hybrid) or Remote

Build the technology that powers an industry leader.

At DO Supply, we don't just sell industrial automation equipment. We help manufacturers around the world keep their operations running. By extending the life of critical automation hardware, reducing downtime, and delivering exceptional customer experiences, we're helping create a more sustainable future for industrial manufacturing.

As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Senior Web Engineer to help architect, build, and enhance the digital systems that power our business.

What You'll Build

This isn't a role where you'll be maintaining a single application or working through a backlog of routine tickets.

You'll work across our technology ecosystem, developing and integrating:

• E-commerce platforms that serve customers worldwide
• Lead generation websites that fuel company growth
• ERP and CRM systems that streamline operations
• API-driven microservices that connect critical business platforms
• Scalable web applications that improve the customer and employee experience

Working directly with our Director of Technology & Innovation and fellow developers, you'll have a meaningful voice in technical strategy, architecture, and future technology investments.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications and services
• Build and support integrations between internal systems and third-party platforms
• Collaborate with leadership, marketing, and development teams on technology initiatives
• Develop secure, reliable, and high-performing solutions following best practices
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions
• Document system architecture, processes, and development standards
• Identify opportunities to modernize and improve existing platforms and workflows
• Stay ahead of emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions

What We're Looking For

You're more than a developer. You're a builder, problem solver, and technical leader who enjoys understanding how systems work together and creating solutions that drive business results.

Required Experience & Skills

• 5+ years of professional web development experience preferred
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
• Experience with object-oriented programming and MVC design patterns
• Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript and TypeScript
• Experience with MySQL or other relational databases
• Strong understanding of web application security and best practices
• Experience with Svelte and NestJS
• Experience with server-side rendering frameworks such as Next.js or SvelteKit
• Experience with Redis, RabbitMQ, or BullMQ
• Experience with Docker in local and production environments
• Experience with Git and modern version control workflows
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with PHP and WordPress
• Experience with ASP.NET, Laravel, React, Vue, or Angular
• Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with microservices architecture, including REST and gRPC
• Experience with Figma and collaborating on UI/UX design initiatives
• Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field preferred
• Equivalent professional experience will also be considered

Why DO Supply?

We're a growing company where your work has a direct impact. You'll join a collaborative team focused on innovation, continuous improvement, and building technology that supports customers around the globe.

With significant company growth and expansion underway, this is an opportunity to help shape the future of our digital platforms while advancing your own career.
