Sr Web Designer Jobs in Riverside, CA (NOW HIRING)

Plastic Surgery Studios is an established digital agency specializing in medical aesthetic marketing. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Web Designer & Developer with strong design experience and expertise in WordPress. This is not a junior position. We need someone confident, experienced, and capable of handling complete projects from concept through launch.

Person will be responsible for designing and developing custom Wordpress websites. You will be part of our team of designers and developers who work directly with clients. You will be collaborating and defining how our clients' websites aesthetics and functionality, building valuable products for users that are engaging and accessible.

Responsibilities

• Build brand-driven narrative experiences across all media channels
• Design high-quality websites using Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud applications
• Create marketing collateral including landing pages, graphics, and branded assets
• Create short-form videos, motion elements, and visual stories to engage users
• Build custom WordPress themes using modern coding standards
• Use AI tools to increase productivity in design and development
• Conduct UX/UI analysis and improve site usability and conversions
• Ensure all websites meet WCAG compliance
• Optimize images, content structure, and overall website performance
• Maintain design systems and reusable UI components
• Manage multiple accounts and strive to meet project deadlines

Skills:

• Expert in responsive design, visual storytelling, and UX/UI best practices
• Advanced knowledge of HTML5, SCSS/Sass, JavaScript, PHP
• Strong custom WordPress theme development experience
• Experience producing short videos, shorts, reels, or motion graphics (a plus)
• Strong understanding of brand narrative and how to engage users through storytelling
• Experience with AI-assisted design and development tools
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Strong organization and attention to detail
• Experience with Shopify, WooCommerce, and Squarespace preferred

Minimum Qualifications

• 3+ years in a digital agency, web design studio, or similar environment
• Portfolio required with design + development samples
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred)
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• On-site role only
