In this role, you'll build test solutions from the ground up-spanning hardware design, circuit development, automated test programming, data review, and customer engagement. Key Responsibilities * Develop electrical test methods for high-reliability, radiation-hardened and trusted microelectronic components used across DoW strategic systems. * Create complete test packages, including test interface hardware, circuit schematics, PCB layouts, and automated test equipment (ATE) control software. * Design, simulate, and evaluate test circuits for characterization and performance validation. * Design and develop printed circuit boards and automated test programs. * Collect test data, support reviews, and contribute sections of analysis and engineering design reviews. * Prepare technical reports, specifications, documentation, and correspondence. * Track project development status and ensure compliance with engineering documentation standards and test procedures. * Collaborate with customers during design reviews and technical working groups to ensure alignment with requirements. Minimum Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 5 years of experience with microelectronics or electronic components. * Hands-on experience with lab equipment including oscilloscopes, meters, and analyzers. * Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work effectively across multiple functional areas in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. * Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. * Willingness to learn from senior engineers and contribute as a team player. * Understanding of microelectronics concepts, theories, structures, and material properties. * Ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance (U.S. citizenship required; interim clearance required to start). Preferred Qualifications * Experience testing microelectronic components. * Experience with EDA tools such as Altium, Eagle, or LTSPICE. * Programming experience with Python, C, C++, Visual Basic, git, or LabVIEW. * Basic analog or digital design experience for circuit boards or ASICs. * Understanding of noise sources and repeatable measurement techniques. * Familiarity with microelectronic fabrication processes and techniques. * Active Secret or Top-Secret clearance. Compensation Details:
$120,000 - $190,000 annually The compensation range or hourly rate listed for this position is provided as a good-faith estimate of what the company intends to offer for this role at the time this posting was issued.
