Overview


Client First Technologies currently is seeking a Senior Technology Analyst in support of our government customer. The Senior Technology Analyst is responsible for higher-level technical tasks that support a critical government information system for human research protection oversight. The Senior Technology Analyst interfaces with program offices, designs and implements reporting solutions and key performance indicators, manages system integrations, and ensures that development complies with applicable security and regulatory requirements. This individual works across all phases of the software development lifecycle, delivering solutions on the Microsoft Power Platform within a secure government Microsoft 365 cloud environment under an Agile Scrum methodology.

Requirements:
  • Interface with program offices and stakeholders to gather requirements and coordinate higher-level technical activities for the system
  • Design and implement reporting solutions, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs), including collecting key metrics and producing project performance reports
  • Manage system integrations across the Microsoft 365 environment, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and SharePoint Online
  • Ensure all development complies with applicable security requirements and regulatory requirements for human research protection oversight
  • Ensure development aligns with established user interface (UI) design standards and Section 508 accessibility compliance guidelines
  • Perform full software development lifecycle activities, including requirements identification, analysis, design, implementation, testing, and deployment of approved SCRs, bug fixes, and technical upgrades
  • Implement and maintain a configuration management process for all solution elements, maintaining a current system baseline with complete descriptive and operational documentation
  • Manage the deployment of managed solutions from the development to the production environment, including pre- and post-deployment quality checks and updated release notes
  • Respond to contract and project-related data calls and provide ad-hoc reports as necessary


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, information science, information systems management, technology management, or similar math, science or technology discipline
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in developing and supporting management information systems, and experience in the phases of product lifecycle, to include analysis and design, coding, testing, documentation, and configuration management
  • Experience developing, testing, and troubleshooting MS Power Platform applications
  • Experience with administration of Microsoft SharePoint sites and data
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), as well as Project and Adobe Acrobat
  • Must meet the requirements of SECNAV M-5239.2, the “DON Information Assurance Workforce Management Manual” (generally, a current CompTIA Security+ CE certification)



Preferred Qualifications


  • Master’s degree in a relevant field
  • Current and active Microsoft Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400) or Solution Architect Expert (PL-600) certification, or an equivalent successor certification
  • Experience working with DoD or DON systems and management
  • Experience with Federal, DOD, and DON human research protection requirements

  • Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time
  • Occasional travel and overtime may be required
