Job description

Senior Software Development Engineer In Test

Client is looking for a talented Senior Software Development Engineer in Test. You will be part of a team automating our critical test cases and workflows, working closely with other Quality Engineers and Developers.

Communication skills and collaborative development and problem solving will be critical to success in this position. A demonstrated thirst/inclination/passion for technology is highly valued.

Responsibilities:

  • Automate high priority tests to ensure quality delivery of features
  • Integrate tests with centralized dashboard to give visibility to test results
  • Implement/enhance services to troubleshoot critical production issues
  • Identify/remediate poor performing code

Required Skills:

  • Extensive experience in C# and nUnit
  • Experience in developing and implementing Service Oriented Applications.
  • Experience implementing REST services
  • OO design principals & patterns
  • SQL
  • Familiarity with distributed architectures & messaging systems (WCF, MSMQ and PubSub)
  • API test case, test plan, and test data design
  • Comfort working with remote teams
  • Comfort working independently

Desired Skills:

  • Oracle database experience
  • ORM technologies, preferably NHibernate and/or SqlAlchemy
  • Spring.net
  • .net performance monitoring & tuning
  • Google Cloud Platform API integration
  • Basic Python knowledge

Education:
