GENERAL FUNCTION:

The Credit Administration Senior Analyst independently executes complex underwriting support and credit monitoring responsibilities, partners closely with Portfolio Managers, Underwriters, and Credit Leadership, and ensures credit files are complete,accurate, and ready to support sound credit decisions.

Accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and following policies and procedures as defined. Ensures actions and behaviors align with Fifth Third's commitment to doing the right thing for customers and colleagues whileoperatingwithin the Bank's risk appetite.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Independentlyserves as the primary point of contact forcomplex renewals, reviews, and portfolio monitoring activities.

  • Review financial statements and credit requests,identifygaps or inconsistencies, and obtainadditionalinformation needed to support credit decisions.

  • Build and manage facility renewals and reviews in nCino in preparation for underwriting and approval.

  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and organization of credit documentation within nCino,DocMan, and FileNet.

  • Perform andvalidateBorrowing Entity PD Ratings and Obligation LGD Ratingsin accordance withpolicy.

  • Proactivelymonitorcovenants and portfolio risks,identifyingand escalating emerging issues or trends.

  • Prepare pipeline, portfolio, and ad-hoc reporting for Credit Leadership and internal partners.

  • Serve as an informal resource to Credit Administration Analysts by providing guidance and sharing best practices.

  • Identifyprocess improvement opportunities and escalate recommendations to leadership.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:

Mayprovideinformal guidance or mentoring to Credit Administration Analysts.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related field preferred.

  • Minimum of three years of credit analysis, loan review, or credit administration experience, preferably in banking.

  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex work and exercise sound judgment.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Proficiencyin Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with nCino and internal systems preferred.
