Position Overview
We are looking for a Senior RF Engineer and Program Manager to support global teleport operations across multiple sites and future expansion locations. This role provides engineering leadership, oversees program execution, and ensures the successful delivery of customer solutions through strong technical expertise and effective team management.
The position partners with leadership to evaluate customer requirements, plan infrastructure, and manage implementation from contract execution through service delivery while maintaining high standards for performance, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
  • Provide engineering expertise for the design of new customer requirements, including vendor sourcing, project planning, implementation oversight, and supervision of work at teleport and customer sites
  • Provide RF engineering training for staff and review engineering plans, programs, and designs as needed
  • Manage assigned vendors, ensuring best value through competitive quoting and effective oversight
  • Lead and develop staff through strong leadership and people management to maintain high morale and performance
  • Conduct employee reviews and supervise teleport personnel on a daily basis
  • Plan and implement new projects and programs, including new business initiatives
  • Develop system design plans and documentation for new programs and review existing RF systems for upgrades and repairs
  • Drive operational success by meeting and exceeding customer service deliverables on time and within budget
  • Collaborate with leadership to evaluate customer requirements against existing infrastructure and provide cost estimates for equipment and upgrades
  • Manage project implementation from contract execution through service start
  • Deliver presentations, represent the company publicly, and demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Attend conferences and establish schedules aligned with customer growth objectives
  • Collaborate with leadership on multi-year operational infrastructure planning, budget forecasting, and cost-benefit analysis

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Electrical Engineering or RF Satellite Communications, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in satellite communications network design, repair, and operations
  • Knowledge of uplink and downlink chains and system design
