 Job Title: Senior Project Manager – IT & Strategic Services (ONSITE)

Overview:
The Office of Information Technology (OIT), Strategic Services, is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with a PMP certification to lead multiple large, high-impact IT projects. This role requires someone who can operate independently, communicate effectively, and balance dual responsibilities as a Project Manager and Business Analyst when needed.

 

What You’ll Do:

·Lead and manage multiple IT and cross-functional projects of medium to high complexity.

·Track project status, schedules, budgets, and forecasts; analyze variances and risks.

·Ensure compliance with State, Department, and OIT project management standards, including Rules 60GG (1-5), F.A.C.

·Collaborate with project teams and vendors to resolve issues and maintain alignment with objectives.

·Produce functional documentation, analyze workflows, and contribute to system enhancements.

·Support legislative budget requests and perform cost reconciliation as needed.

What You Bring:

·PMP Certification and current knowledge of Agile project management practices.

·Minimum 6 years of professional experience in IT, Business Administration, or Communications.

·Strong experience in oversight project management, managing multiple concurrent large projects.

·Knowledge of FDOT program management, construction scheduling, and IT procurement processes is a plus.

·Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills; public speaking experience is a bonus.

·Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio.
