Position Overview

Aalis Management Consulting is proactively seeking experienced Senior Project Managers for upcoming federal contract opportunities. The Senior Project Manager will lead complex projects and cross-functional teams supporting federal government clients. This individual will be responsible for planning, execution, stakeholder engagement, risk mitigation, resource management, and successful delivery of contract objectives within scope, schedule, and budget.

The ideal candidate is a results-driven leader with demonstrated success managing federal programs, driving process improvements, and ensuring exceptional client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end project management activities for federal government programs and initiatives.
  • Develop and manage integrated project plans, schedules, milestones, deliverables, and resource allocations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for government stakeholders, leadership teams, and internal staff.
  • Monitor project performance, budgets, risks, and issues; implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Facilitate status meetings, executive briefings, and program reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements, federal regulations, and organizational standards.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including operations, finance, IT, acquisition, and consulting personnel.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and mission outcomes.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership and government clients.
  • Mentor junior project managers and team members as needed.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required.
  • Minimum 5+ years of project management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting federal government clients or contracts.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced client environment.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, and collaboration tools.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting civilian, defense, or national security agencies.
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field.
  • Experience with Agile, Lean Six Sigma, or change management methodologies.
  • Experience leading geographically dispersed teams.
