With minimal guidance, this role performs project controls responsibilities. Responsibilities include project cost analysis, forecasting, and reporting; project schedule development, maintenance, and reporting as applicable. Work is performed in accordance with established guidelines, procedures, and standards.

Responsibilities/Expectations:
Collaborates with project teams to support the project controls activities throughout the project life cycle (typically, Small Expansion and/or Maintenance Capital Projects) according to established guidelines and procedures.
Develops and maintains project schedules including progress updates. Revises forecasts and evaluates impact of delays. Communicates status of schedule and key risk areas to team members.
Develops understanding of Williams risk management policies and procedures.
Develops and maintains the project budgets and forecasts in applicable business system(s) by required deadlines.
Develops understanding of earned value management principles and contracting/bidding processes.
Prepares, analyzes, and communicates project reports and variance analyses, providing recommendations to mitigate cost and schedule variances as required by established deadlines. Engages in ad hoc analyses, reporting and/or other duties as assigned. Trains project teams in reporting systems.

Education/Years of Experience:
Required: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Science/Management, Business or equivalent level of education and experience; 3-5 Years of Project Management, Project Controls, Engineering, Construction or related
Preferred: 5 Years
Other Requirements:
Demonstrates working knowledge of the project life cycle and its application across project phases.
If specialized in one area (cost, schedule or risk), demonstrates working knowledge of the remaining project controls disciplines.
Demonstrates the ability to independently work within projectrelated software systems.
Demonstrates the ability to solve standard project controls problems using established practices.
Demonstrates effective organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Demonstrates aptitude for using technology and applications to improve efficiency and streamline processes.
Exhibits excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and deems safety an utmost priority
Demonstrates aptitude and ability to embrace technology and applications to drive operational efficiency and streamline processes
