Internal Job Title: Senior Programmer Analyst III - Data Engineering / Databricks / Reinsurance
Location: League City, TX | Status: Full-Time, Salaried | Work arrangement: Onsite
Reports to: Web Consultant
We are hiring a hands-on senior technical professional to support reinsurance and pension risk transfer systems through Databricks-based solutions, data pipeline development, automation, reporting, and business-critical application enhancements.
What You'll Do
  • This role is best suited for someone with substantial hands-on experience in Databricks, data engineering, and data pipeline development
  • You will build, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize data solutions that support reinsurance processing, reporting, automation, and deal onboarding
  • You should be comfortable solving medium- to complex-level technical challenges using Python and/or Java, modern data platforms, and strong software development practices
  • Exposure to cloud technologies, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, modern deployment practices, Agile tooling, and automation frameworks is highly relevant
  • Experience with insurance, reinsurance, PRT, Azure, SQL Server, SSIS, Cosmos DB, AI-enabled automation, or LLM tools is a plus

Qualifications
  • Strong firsthand Databricks experience
  • Data pipeline, integration, or modern data platform development experience
  • Python and/or Java development experience
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex data engineering or application issues
  • Foundational exposure to cloud, DevOps, CI/CD, Docker, deployment, Agile, or automation practices
