About the Position: Employee serves as the Chief of Military Programs and Project Management Branch for Savannah District Office. This position is responsible for the vertical and horizontal integration products to produce the Military projects and manage the program for the district. Qualifications:

Specialized Experience:
One year of specialized experience which includes:
1) Serving as a senior project manager or technical expert for large-scale, complex military construction projects, involving vertical and horizontal integration across multiple technical disciplines.
2) Applying expert knowledge of management concepts and project management principles to oversee all project phases from master planning and design to construction, cost control, and operations.
3) Exercising supervisory duties such as assigning and evaluating work, managing personnel, and implementing Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) principles.
4) Developing and managing project budgets, schedules, and procurement strategies to meet program objectives.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13 or above).
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
