What is a Sr procurement engineer?

Sr Procurement Engineers are experienced professionals responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, components, or services required for manufacturing or project execution. They work closely with engineering, production, and supplier teams to ensure that all procured items meet technical specifications, quality standards, and cost targets. Their role often involves supplier evaluation, contract negotiation, and developing procurement strategies to optimize supply chain performance.
