) As a Server (Dining Services Associate) with Sierra Place Senior Living you're responsible for creating a safe, comfortable and pleasant dining experience for our seniors. Unlike other serving positions in hospitality (restaurants, hotels, resorts), in this role you'll have the opportunity to build life-long relationships serving our residents the nutritious meals that keep them thriving every day.
What we look for in a Dining Room Server (Dining Services Associate):
  • Work with the dining room manager to identify dietary needs and develop appropriate dietary plans
  • Must possess current first aid certification and a current food handler's or serve safe certification
  • Compassionate individuals who will represent our community in a positive and professional manner
  • Effective communicator who connects with staff, residents and their families
  • Demonstrate active listening techniques, gain support by treating others with dignity and respect
  • Strong customer service skills with ability to problem solve
  • Ownership attitude who is able to stay focused despite interruptions throughout the day
  • Reliable transportation and dependable when it comes to showing up on time
  • Ability to work flexible hours to include evenings and weekends

What you can expect to do as a Server (Dining Services Associate):
  • Prepare dining room for all meals, completing the pre-meal procedures
