Additionally, this role is key to the training of new associates to ensure they are prepared to process move money request accurately and efficiently. This role requires a solid understanding of IRS regulations and rules related to Retirement move money transaction and the ability to educate.Responsibilities:Handles high level/complex escalations by understanding the request, taking appropriate action and providing rational to resolve while keeping management informedProvide trend analysis on processing queues and escalating as appropriateAbility to make decisions while weighing risk toleranceFacilitate the training of new team members using multiple methods to include updated training guides, shadowing and on-going processing supportIdentify opportunities for training gaps within the team to work towards a solution and resolveUnderstanding of IRS rules and regulations related to contributions and distributions in Retirement AccountsProblem solve and conduct research on advisor related questions and escalations using a variety of toolsConsistently research, review and update department procedures to ensure they are aligned with IRS regulationsAssist with quality assurance reviewsReview, prepare and process complex retirement move money request to include RMD, Removal of Excess, Recharacterizations and Qualified Retirement Plan transactionsActively participate in user acceptance testing for enhancements to current systems/processesProactively educate internal business partners and advisors on products and processes including necessary updates to intranet and advisor facing resourcesIdentify opportunities for process improvement and take ownership of implementationWork collaboratively and efficiently with others in a fast pace, evolving environmentWhat are we looking for?We’re looking for strong collaborators who deliver exceptional client experiences and thrive in fast-paced, team-oriented environments.
