Sr Java Microservices Developer Jobs in Texas (NOW HIRING)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Microservices Developer with 8+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and supporting enterprise applications using Java and Microservices architecture. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Spring Boot, REST APIs, cloud-native development, and event-driven architectures. This role requires experience building scalable backend services, integrating enterprise applications, and working in Agile environments.

Candidates with exposure to AI-powered applications and Large Language Model (LLM) integrations are highly preferred but not mandatory.

• 8+ years of experience in Java Application Development

• Strong hands-on experience with Java 8/11/17

• Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Microservices architecture

• Strong experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and web services

• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka or other messaging platforms

• Strong knowledge of Hibernate/JPA

• Experience with SQL databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or MySQL

• Experience with AWS cloud services

• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes

• Experience with Git, Maven, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills

• Experience with Redis or MongoDB

• Exposure to OpenShift

• Experience with OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, or similar AI services

• Knowledge of Prompt Engineering and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)

• Experience with Spring AI or LangChain4j

• Knowledge of OAuth2, JWT, and Single Sign-On (SSO)

• Experience with JUnit and Mockito

• Exposure to Azure or Google Cloud Platform

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Microservices using Java and Spring Boot.

• Build secure, high-performance RESTful APIs for enterprise applications.

• Develop event-driven applications using Kafka and messaging technologies.

• Design and implement cloud-native applications on AWS.

• Containerize and deploy applications using Docker and Kubernetes.

• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA engineers, and DevOps teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

• Participate in technical design discussions, architecture reviews, and code reviews.

• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines following DevOps best practices.

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry standards.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

• Stay current with emerging technologies and contribute to modern application development practices.

• Bachelor''''''''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• 8+ years of professional experience in Java Application Development.

• Strong understanding of Microservices architecture and distributed systems.

• Experience developing enterprise-scale backend applications.

• Strong knowledge of software engineering principles and design patterns.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
