Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer (Java & React) to design, develop, modernize, and support enterprise web applications for our client.

What You'll Do
  • Refactor and modernize legacy Java-based applications into scalable, maintainable Spring Boot microservices
  • Design, develop, and maintain responsive user interfaces using React, JavaScript, CSS, and Bootstrap
  • Develop and consume secure RESTful APIs to support enterprise application integrations
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions that align with standards and best practices
  • Design, optimize, and maintain relational database structures, with a strong focus on Oracle database performance and SQL optimization
  • Perform unit, integration, and component testing using JUnit, Mockito, and React Testing Library
  • Troubleshoot application issues and provide production support for enterprise systems
  • Implement software builds, deployments, and release management through CI/CD pipelines
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, architects, and development teams throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Enforce coding standards, development best practices, and application security requirements
  • Support application enhancements, bug fixes, and ongoing modernization initiatives
  • Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and knowledge-sharing activities
What You'll Need

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • LinkedIn profile required
  • 10+ years of experience with Java development (Core Java and modern Java frameworks)
  • 7+ years of experience with system refactoring and monolithic application modernization
  • 7+ years of experience with Spring Framework technologies including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Hibernate
  • 7+ years of experience working with relational databases and data analysis
  • 5+ years of experience developing applications with JavaScript and React
  • 5+ years of experience with CSS and Bootstrap
  • 5+ years of experience designing and developing RESTful APIs
  • 5+ years of experience performing developer-level testing using JUnit, Mockito, and React Testing Library
  • 5+ years of experience with software deployment processes and CI/CD tooling
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies
  • Experience supporting enterprise-level web applications throughout the full application lifecycle
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid team environment

Preferred:

  • 7+ years of Oracle Database management and SQL performance optimization
  • Experience with application modernization and cloud-ready architecture design
  • Experience implementing microservices-based architectures
  • Experience supporting public sector or education-related enterprise applications
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
