Both roles require strong programming skills, but the Fullstack role demands broader knowledge across the entire application stack.

What is a Sr Fullstack Developer?

A Sr Fullstack Developer is an experienced software engineer who is proficient in both frontend and backend development. They work with a variety of programming languages, frameworks, and databases to build fully functional web applications. In addition to coding, senior fullstack developers often lead projects, mentor junior developers, and help make architectural decisions. Their broad skill set allows them to handle tasks across the entire technology stack, ensuring that applications are efficient, scalable, and user-friendly.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Sr Fullstack Developer, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Sr Fullstack Developer, you need advanced proficiency in both front-end and back-end programming languages, frameworks, and a solid understanding of software architecture, typically supported by a computer science degree or equivalent experience. Familiarity with tools such as Git, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms, and relevant certifications like AWS Certified Developer or similar are often expected. These competencies enable developers to deliver robust, scalable solutions and effectively drive projects to completion in dynamic team environments.

What are some typical challenges a Sr Fullstack Developer faces when balancing front-end and back-end responsibilities?

Sr Fullstack Developers often need to juggle tasks across both the front-end and back-end, which can be challenging when priorities shift quickly or deadlines are tight. Join the Maverick Power Team!

At Maverick Power, we don’t just build power distribution solutions—we redefine industry standards. Recognized on the 2025 Inc. 5000 list as #16 in the U.S., #2 in Manufacturing, and #1 in Texas, we are committed to driving innovation, quality, and speed. With multiple manufacturing facilities across North Texas and Phoenix, we are expanding rapidly and looking for top talent to grow with us

If you are ready to be part of a high-energy, solutions-driven team where your work makes an impact, Maverick Power is the place for you.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive Salary + Bonus Potential!
  • Paid Time Off, 401K Matching, Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits!
  • High-growth organization with advancement opportunities!
  • Diverse, Collaborative, & Fun Work Environment!

About the Role:

Maverick Power's highest-value opportunities live in the seams between systems—the manual handoffs between CRM, Quote Tool, and ERP that no single team owns. As an MCP/Integration Developer, you'll build the enterprise-grade MCP servers that front the Quote Tool API, HubSpot CRM, and Epicor ERP, giving AI the ability to read and act across all three systems. This is the role most directly responsible for Maverick's reference architecture: the integration pattern, governance layer, and data plumbing you build here becomes the standard every future AI workstream inherits for free—turning "we automated quoting" into "we built an AI capability."

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain MCP servers that front the Quote Tool API, HubSpot CRM, and Epicor ERP for AI consumption.
  • Partner with the Quote Tool API/Fullstack Developer to define clean, AI-consumable interfaces.
  • Build the standardized integration pattern (auth, data mapping, error handling) that lets every future system be fronted the same way.
  • Extend integration into HubSpot and Epicor to support automated BOM generation and lead routing.
  • Establish and maintain governance and observability: logging, guardrails, human-in-the-loop checkpoints, and cost/quality monitoring across all AI integrations.
  • Build standardized context/data plumbing to feed grounded, current business data (specs, pipeline, BOMs) into AI applications.
  • Collaborate closely with GenAI Chat Developers to ensure the application layer can reliably consume the MCP layer.
  • Document integration patterns explicitly for reuse—every design decision should be built to be reused, not rebuilt, by the next workstream.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience building enterprise-grade API integrations.
  • Hands-on experience developing MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers or comparable agent-integration frameworks.
  • Demonstrated experience integrating internal and third-party APIs for AI or automation consumption.
  • Strong understanding of authentication, data mapping, and error-handling patterns for production integrations.
  • Experience implementing logging, monitoring, or governance controls for production systems.
  • Comfortable operating in a small, senior, fast-moving team with significant ownership.
  • Comfortable using AI coding tools (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Codex) as part of the daily development workflow.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with CRM (HubSpot) and/or ERP (Epicor) integrations.
  • Prior experience designing a reusable integration platform or reference architecture, not just point-to-point integrations.
  • Familiarity with autonomous agent architectures and human-in-the-loop design.
  • Experience building observability or cost/quality monitoring for AI systems.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit or stand at a workstation for extended periods.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 15 lbs (equipment, monitors, etc.).
  • Regular use of computer, keyboard, and monitor for extended periods.

Work Environment:
May work in various settings at the Maverick Power facilities, in offices, in multiple shops, and in commercial buildings. Maintaining the same position or posture while performing tasks and sitting for prolonged periods. The above-noted job description is not intended to describe, in detail, the multitude of tasks that may be assigned but rather to give the applicant a general sense of the responsibilities and expectations of this position. As the nature of business demands change so, too, may the essential functions of the position.
