Title: Verification and Validation Engineer
Location: Vergennes/VT Onsite

Job Description
 

Basic Qualifications:
Looking for a DO-178 Verification Engineer responsible for performing software verification and validation activities in compliance with DO-178 B/C guidelines for safety-critical aerospace systems.
Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and automated test procedures for embedded avionics software.
  • Perform functional, integration, and system-level testing.
  • Perform requirements-based testing (unit, integration, and system-level)
  • Conduct structural coverage analysis (MC/DC) as required by DO-178B/C standards.
  • Validate software against requirements and design specifications.
  • Document test results and prepare compliance reports.
  • Collaborate with development and system engineering teams to resolve defects and ensure quality.

Required Skills

  • Experience with aerospace standards (DO-178B/C).
  • Strong understanding of software lifecycle processes.
  • Proficiency in requirement tools such as DOORS, and any scripting languages (Python, Perl etc).
