Description:

SUMMARY

Performs purchasing, inspection, handling & inventory procedures at various areas as directed by management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Provides reviews and constructive comments on material specs to the Engineering team.

2. Ensure all material needed is accounted for within the work order for each job assigned.

3. Assist with Returns / Credits as needed.

4. Assist with reconciliation of PO’s to Invoices for accounting purposes as needed.

5. Assist with expediting of material as needed.

6. Assist with weekly inventory GAMBA walks.

7. Responsible for weekly follow-up reports.

8. Responsible for maintaining team goal of ZERO past due purchase orders.

9. Assist with Customer Service, providing quotes and other requested information pertaining to materials.

10. Communication of Vendor and Material changes as needed.

11. Must have a valid Drivers License and insurable for PBI vehicle operations.

12. Strong team player.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience of 3-5 years in a data entry field is highly encouraged.

Knowledge of various computer programs preferred, including but not limited to Netsuite, Adobe, CAD, Excel and Word

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and comprehend simple Instructions, short correspondence and memos in the English language.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.

Ability to calculate costing using various formulas.

Ability to perform these operations using units of American money, weights and measurements.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple multi-step instructions.

Ability to discern when other parties need to be involved in validating priorities.
