Job description

Audit Senior Associate

Our public accounting client in the Springfield area is seeking an Audit Senior Associate to lead audit engagements, work directly with clients, and mentor junior staff.
This role will pay between $80k-90k on a base salary, depending upon experience and fit

Responsibilities
  • Lead audit fieldwork and manage engagement timelines and budgets
  • Prepare and review audit workpapers
  • Serve as a key client contact and build strong relationships
  • Assist with engagement planning and identify client needs
  • Mentor and develop Associates
  • Support Partners and Managers with practice development initiatives
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required
  • CPA or CPA-track
  • 3-5+ years of public accounting/audit or Assurance experience
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and proficiency with accounting/audit software
