Tax Senior Associate, (Boston, MA, Hoboken, NJ) – FandlGagnon, LLC www.fandlgagnon.com has an immediate opening for a senior associate level position with two to five years of experience to focus on federal and state income tax, sales and use tax and property tax outsourcing, consulting and advocacy in our Boston, MA or Hoboken, NJ office. This position also allows for remote work. Job Responsibilities: Senior Associate level position requires applicants to be problem solvers, have strong research skills, exceptional data management skills, and an entrepreneurial spirit. Applicants will work on federal and state income tax, sales and use tax, property tax and other state and local outsourcing engagements, audits and appeals and provide consulting to Fortune 500 and middle market companies. They will be required to delegate, identify opportunities, embrace technology, and take ownership of engagements. Applicants will have daily interaction and correspondence with tax authorities, clients, and other team members.

Requirements:

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or accounting. CPA, LLM or JD is preferred. Experience in the Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Word, and Excel) is required. Ability to work independently, managing and prioritizing multiple tasks. Strong organizational, entrepreneurial, analytical, research, communication and negotiation skills will differentiate the ideal candidate. Travel required.
