This position operates within a community health clinic setting that has been carefully designed to meet the needs of our clients aged 18 to 30, fostering an atmosphere of support and collaboration. • Group Therapy Facilitation: Conduct engaging group sessions that encourage clients to share experiences, build relationships, and learn from each other in a supportive environment.
• Individual Counseling: Provide tailored one-on-one therapy, utilizing various therapeutic techniques to help clients delve into their feelings and develop effective coping strategies.
• Treatment Planning: Collaborate closely with clients to create personalized, goal-directed treatment plans that align with their unique needs and aspirations.
• Progress Assessment: Monitor client progress through regular evaluations and feedback methodologies, ensuring therapy goals are being met and adjusting approaches as necessary.
• Team Collaboration: Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, maintaining ongoing communication to coordinate care and discuss complex case strategies for optimal client outcomes.

Your primary focus will be on young adults (ages 18 to 30) who are navigating various mental health challenges. These clients often encounter issues related to anxiety, depression, substance use, and transitional life stressors. By providing them with the necessary tools, therapeutic techniques, and supportive counsel, you will help guide them towards recovery and personal development.

• A master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy.
• Current and valid Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) licensure in the state of Illinois.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with an ability to establish rapport and trust with clients.
• A commitment to continuous professional development and maintaining ethical standards in practice.

• Experience in mental health treatment, particularly with adolescents and young adults.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic approaches and holistic treatment strategies.
• Proficiency in documenting client progress and using electronic health record management systems.

The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
