Job description

Build the Future with Us - EquipmentShare is Hiring a Financial Analyst

At EquipmentShare, we're not just filling a role - we're assembling the best team on the planet to build something that's never been built before. We're on a mission to transform an industry that's been stuck in the past by empowering contractors and communities through innovative technology, real-time support, and a team that truly cares.

EquipmentShare is searching for a Financial Analyst for the corporate office in Columbia, Missouri (remote work is fine) to support the scaling of our OWN Program - an asset monetization program connecting equipment owners with EquipmentShare's rental network. This role owns the analytical infrastructure behind OWN Program Participant payouts, equipment tracking, and revenue share forecasting, and is a key contributor to the program's long-term scalability.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Own the end-to-end monthly payout process, including revenue share calculations, verification, and reporting for OWN Program Participants
  • Support equipment sales tracking and onboarding into OWN Program
  • Build and maintain dynamic financial models to forecast sensitivities to changes in equipment valuations, utilization, and interest rates
  • Write and maintain SQL queries for data retrieval, reconciliation, and automation of recurring workflows
  • Document and standardize payout workflows to support audit readiness and program scalability
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks in existing processes; implement automations to reduce manual effort
  • Partner cross-functionally with Accounting, Operations, Legal, OWN Program Participants, and external bank partners to support program structuring and reporting
  • Contribute to broader corporate finance deliverables including forecasting, reporting, and ad hoc strategic analysis
Why EquipmentShare?

Because we do things differently - and we think you'll feel it from day one. We're a people-first company powered by cutting-edge technology. That means our proprietary T3 platform doesn't just run our business - it also makes your job easier, safer, and more connected. Whether you're behind the wheel, under the hood, leading a branch, or closing deals - tech supports you, and you drive us forward.

We're a team of problem-solvers, go-getters, and builders. And we're looking for teammates who take pride in doing meaningful work and want to be part of building something special.

Perks & Benefits
  • Competitive compensation
  • Full medical, dental, and vision coverage for full-time employees
  • Generous PTO + paid holidays
  • 401(k) + company match
  • Gym membership stipend + wellness programs (earn PTO and prizes!)
  • Company events, food truck nights
  • 16 hours of paid volunteer time per year - give back to the community you call home
  • Career advancement, leadership training, and professional development opportunities
About You

You want to be part of a team that's not just changing an industry for the sake of change - we're transforming it to make it safer, more secure, and more productive. You bring grit, heart, and humility to your work, and you're excited about the opportunity to grow within a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

We're looking for people who:

  • See challenges as opportunities
  • Embrace change and continuous improvement
  • Bring energy, effort, and optimism every day
Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort working with large, complex datasets
  • Ability to build and maintain dynamic financial models; expert-level Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
  • SQL experience required; AI and/or Python experience a plus
  • Working knowledge of financial analysis: forecasting, reporting, variance analysis, and revenue recognition concepts
  • Ability to swiftly extract key insights from data and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders
  • Proven ability to approach complex, ambiguous problems with curiosity and an analytical mindset
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Economics, or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or a related function
  • SQL experience required; Python/AI a plus
  • Construction or equipment industry experience a plus
