Job Summary:
ShiftCode Analytics, Inc. is seeking a Database Developer to join their Lenexa office, focusing on maintaining and enhancing critical data systems. The role requires significant experience in database development and management, with responsibilities including the development of SSIS jobs, management of database schemas, and performance management of SQL databases.
Responsibilities:
• Develop, maintain, and enhance SSIS jobs and SQL stored procedures.
• Manage and update database schemas for on-premises SQL Server Data Warehouse and Azure-based Data Marts.
• Monitor overnight jobs, troubleshoot, and resolve issues promptly.
• Perform DBA tasks, including performance management, patching, and application upgrades for the Data Warehouse and OLTP SQL Server databases.
• Optionally, contribute to SSRS Reports and Power BI development (preferred but not required).
Qualifications:
Required:
• 7+ years of experience as a Database Developer
• Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, and SQL
• Experience maintaining database schemas and monitoring data processes
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work on-site in Lenexa
• DBA experience with SQL Server performance management, patching, and upgrades
Preferred:
• Contribute to SSRS Reports and Power BI development
• Familiarity with SSRS Reports and Power BI
