Job description

Business Information Developer Senior

Location: This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office.

Please note that per our policy on hybrid/virtual work, candidates not within a reasonable commuting distance from the posting location(s) will not be considered for employment, unless an accommodation is granted as required by law.
The Business Information Developer Senior will be responsible for developing and executing complex data mining analyses, which involves the design and execution of programs to extract data.

We are looking for a developer who is highly proficient with Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), with hands-on experience writing complex queries, stored procedures, views, functions, and data transformation processes. The ideal candidate can troubleshoot performance issues, optimize inefficient SQL, work confidently with large datasets, and build reliable, maintainable solutions.

This is not a narrowly scripted development environment. We encourage creativity, experimentation, and individual problem-solving styles. You will have the freedom to challenge inefficient processes, propose better technical approaches, automate manual work, and turn loosely defined business needs into practical, scalable solutions.

The ideal candidate is someone who is energized by difficult data problems, comfortable operating with autonomy, and eager to contribute ideas-not just execute requirements. If you enjoy digging into complex systems, improving how things work, and putting your own technical perspective into the solutions you build, you will thrive on this team.
How you will make an impact:

  • Develops and executes data mining analyses.
  • Uses program languages to extract data.
  • Develops new and standard reports utilizing data warehouse information.
  • Programs and writes queries and reports.
  • Establishes and maintains strong knowledge of data warehouse database design, data definitions, system capabilities, related programming languages, and data integrity issues.
  • Develops and supports data warehouse-related applications for business areas requiring design and implementation of database tables.
  • Conducts training on use of applications developed.

Minimum Requirements: Requires a BS/BA degree and a minimum of 2 years related analytical experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

  • PC, spreadsheet, and database skills strongly preferred.
  • Experience in standard Business Information tools and programming/query languages strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills are strongly preferred.
  • Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) experience strongly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience writing complex SQL queries strongly preferred.

For candidates working in person or virtually in the below location(s), the salary* range for this specific position is $83,680 to $125,520.
