Job description

Our Client is seeking a talented and motivated .NET Developer to design, develop, implement, and support enterprise applications that help drive our mission of saving lives. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to analyze requirements, develop scalable solutions, maintain existing applications, and support critical business systems. This position requires strong technical expertise in Microsoft technologies, database design, and application development, along with the ability to translate business needs into effective technology solutions.

Essential Responsibilities

The following functions are representative of the duties and responsibilities associated with this position. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

·        Evaluate system and programming requirements for departments and business users and recommend effective solutions.

·        Meet with stakeholders to gather business requirements and identify data sources necessary to support operational objectives.

·        Design, develop, enhance, and support enterprise applications, modules, and system integrations.

·        Create technical solution designs and specifications based on business requirements.

·        Develop, test, review, and maintain application code using Microsoft .NET technologies.

·        Prepare and execute test plans, test data, and quality assurance procedures.

·        Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and system issues.

·        Support implementation, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of software solutions.

·        Maintain and enhance third-party and packaged applications as required.

·        Conduct user training sessions and provide technical guidance for system functionality and enhancements.

·        Update and revise existing programs to improve functionality, performance, and reliability.

·        Provide technical leadership and work direction to junior developers and support staff.

·        Ensure proper system documentation is developed and maintained for all new and modified applications.

·        Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on schedule and within scope.

·        Stay current with emerging technologies, software development methodologies, and database technologies to continuously improve system capabilities.

Required Qualifications

Education & Experience

·        Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.

·        4+ years of experience in application development, systems analysis, database programming, and software support.

·        Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.

Technical Skills

·        Strong experience with Microsoft .NET Framework and/or .NET Core/.NET 8+ development.

·        Experience with  MVC and web application development.

·        Knowledge of API development, integrations, and modern architecture patterns.

·        Knowledge of Entity Framework and object-relational mapping (ORM) concepts.

·        Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server and/or Oracle Database.

·        Knowledge of SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) 

·        Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).

·         

Preferred Qualifications

·        Experience supporting healthcare, blood banking, laboratory, or highly regulated environments.

·        Experience with cloud-based Microsoft technologies such as Azure.
