Position Description
Seneca Resources is seeking a Data Analyst to support a high-impact HR and business operations team. This role is ideal for a data-driven professional who enjoys transforming complex datasets into actionable business insights. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and technical teams to collect, validate, analyze, and report on enterprise data that supports strategic decision-making.
The ideal candidate has strong analytical abilities, experience with SQL and data visualization tools, and a passion for data quality, governance, and business intelligence. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to enterprise-wide reporting initiatives while working in a collaborative hybrid environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and data requirements.
  • Perform data extraction, transformation, cleansing, validation, and quality assurance activities.
  • Develop technical documentation, including data definitions, business rules, metadata, and governance procedures.
  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
  • Perform data quality audits to ensure compliance with reporting standards and governance requirements.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities that support business objectives.
  • Write SQL queries and perform data research to support reporting, analytics, and business intelligence initiatives.
  • Prepare descriptive statistics and analytical summaries for stakeholders and leadership.
