About This Role

Childcare Van Driver – Afternoon Shift

Location: Great Bridge Children's Center / Chesapeake

Schedule: 1:30 - 3:30 PM (Additional hours available)


We are looking for a reliable and caring Van Driver to join our childcare team! The Van Driver is responsible for safely transporting children from public school to the center while ensuring a positive and friendly environment.

Schedule:

  • Afternoon Route: 1:30 - 3:30 PM
  • Additional hours may be available assisting in classrooms.

What You'll Do

Responsibilities:

  • Safely transport children following established routes and schedules
  • Ensure all children are properly secured in their seats
  • Maintain a clean and organized vehicle
  • Complete daily vehicle safety checks and mileage logs

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Must clear full background check and must pass health screening.
  • Prior experience driving a passenger van or working with children preferred
