Position Overview

Blue Streak Couriers is seeking a reliable, safety-focused Delivery Driver to operate a cargo or sprinter van as part of our delivery operation. This role serves as a utility / route coverage driver, supporting multiple routes and assisting operations where needed.

Unlike a dedicated route position, daily assignments may vary. You may be covering different delivery routes, supporting drivers, or assisting in the warehouse when needed.

This role requires consistent availability Monday through Friday starting at 7:00 AM until the assigned work for the day is completed.

The Opportunity

You will not be running the same route every day. Instead, you’ll play a key role in supporting the operation by filling gaps, covering routes, and stepping in wherever help is needed.

  • Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time
  • Verify delivery information and maintain proper documentation

Cover Routes and Support Operations

  • Step in to cover different routes as needed

  • Maintain a clean and organized vehicle
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams

  • You can be counted on regardless of the assignment
  • You take ownership of your responsibilities

  • You prioritize team success over personal preference
  • You bring a positive, cooperative mindset

Safety and Driving Responsibility

  • Strong commitment to safe driving practices
  • Understanding of defensive driving principles (Smith System preferred)
  • Clean driving record

Attention to Detail

  • You ensure deliveries are accurate and completed correctly
  • You follow instructions and routes carefully
  • You understand that small mistakes can create bigger issues

Physical Capability

  • Previous delivery or route driving experience
  • Experience with cargo vans, sprinter vans, or similar vehicles
  • Warehouse or logistics experience

This role is critical to our operation, and we depend on every driver to be flexible, reliable, safety-focused, and professional every day.
