Job description

NRT is seeking skilled and reliable CDL A local dry van owner operators in Savannah, GA. In this role, you'll be responsible for the safe and timely transport of containers. This is Monday through Friday schedule with critical delivery times.

Compensation:

  • Pay: $110 ROUND TRIP
  • Weekly Avg: Up to $2,500
  • Weekly settlements deposited weekly

Home Time, Route & Schedule

  • Home daily
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday
  • Shift: 6:00am – 5:00pm
  • Route: Ports
    • 6-8 runs per day

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 23 years of age
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
  • Minimum of 1 year Class A driving experience (or equivalent military driving experience) within the last 3 years
  • Ability to pass DOT pre-employment drug screening and meet DOT medical requirements
  • Good stable work record
  • TWIC Card
  • Current DOT physical
  • Truck must Pass Company Inspection
  • LLC Corp. & EIN formation letters
  • Truck Registration
  • Current DOT Truck Inspection
  • Must live within 25 miles of Savannah, GA

Physical Demands:

  • Extended periods of sitting while operating vehicles
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions
  • Physical capability for climbing in and out of truck cabs and trailers
