Help Wanted: Fire Sprinkler Designer

Location: Charlotte, NC
Employment Type: Full‐time

We’re looking for a skilled Fire Sprinkler Designer to join our growing team and help us protect lives and property through high‐quality fire protection systems. If you’re detail‐oriented, experienced with fire sprinkler layout and hydraulic calculations, and enjoy seeing your designs come to life in the field, we’d love to talk.


What You’ll Do

  • Create detailed fire sprinkler system designs using CAD or BIM software
  • Perform hydraulic calculations and ensure compliance with NFPA standards, local codes, and project specifications
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and AHJs
  • Prepare submittals, material lists, and installation drawings
  • Support field teams during installation and resolve design‐related issues
  • Participate in site visits as needed to verify conditions and progress


What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in fire sprinkler design (NICET certification preferred but not required)
  • Strong knowledge of NFPA 13, NFPA 14, and related codes
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design tools
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and mechanical plans
  • Strong communication and problem‐solving skills
  • Self‐motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple projects
