Job description

Springfield Clinic is seeking a BE/BC Gastroenterology Hospitalist to join our well established and rewarding practice. 

Springfield Clinic is the largest multispecialty, physician-owned, medical groups in Illinois. Springfield Clinic has been committed to quality, safety, service, and innovation to improve the health and lives of people in central Illinois for over 85 years. With more than 650 physicians and advanced practitioners on our team, we offer care in more than 80 specialties and sub-specialties through a network of medical offices and hospital affiliations across the region.

Practice Highlights

  • Join a team of 10 outpatient GI Physicians and 11 APPs
  • 7-on-7-off or 14-on-14-off schedule options,
    • Exclusively inpatient, Monday-Sunday, 24-hour coverage, in-house from 7a-7pm
    • 182 Shift Annually
  • Physician will provide clinical services to 2 hospitals located within 1 mile of one another -
    • Admissions managed by robust Hospital Medicine team
    • Dedicated endoscopy unit for procedures
    • APP support every day, including weekends and holidays
    • Manageable patient volumes
  • ERCP and EUS experience preferred but not required
  • Collaborative, collegial environment
