What You'll Do:
The Assistant Front Office Manager will partner with the Front Office Manager and ensure the smooth operation of the Front Desk, Shuttle, and Bell/Guest Service departments. Supervisory duties include covering as Manager on Duty, resolving escalated guest contacts, scheduling, training, performance management, and maintaining the resort standards. Additional responsibilities will be assisting with guest transactions, check-ins and -outs, answering phones, and excellent service to our guests. The ideal candidate will be strongly customer-oriented; have knowledge of and experience in hotels/resorts, especially winter resorts; be detailed and accurate; and maintain a positive demeanor in an occasionally stressful environment. Full-time, year-round position with benefits eligibility as listed below. Housing may be available on a first-come, first-served basis based on position.
Position starts at $58,656-$63,000 ability to earn commissions.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Serve as Manager on Duty and resolve any escalated guest questions or concerns.
  • Support the oversight of staff in our Front Office departments including:
    • 8+ Front Desk Agents/Night Auditors
    • 5+ Bell/Guest Service Agents
    • 5+ Shuttle Drivers
  • Assist with scheduling, time and attendance, and payroll for department employees.
  • Partner to train, develop, and manage the performance of staff.
  • Ensure proper adherence to company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Welcome guests and provide excellent customer service throughout their stay.
  • Assist with guest transactions, check-ins, and check-outs.
  • Answer guest inquiries in person, over the phone, or through e-mails.
  • Communicate with other departments of any events, changes, or special considerations which may affect them.
What You'll Bring:
  • 2+ years Front Desk, Hospitality, or equivalent experience - required.
  • 1+ years supervisory experience - required.
  • 1+ years Customer Service/Sales experience - required.
  • Experience in ski resorts/hotels - preferred.
  • Experience with Springer-Miller Systems - preferred.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field - preferred
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English - required.
