Job Description

Purpose of Position:

The primary purpose of this position is to support interns and volunteers through their term. The supervisor will be expected to do the following:


Roles:

  • Supervise the orientation of the volunteer
  • Supervise and support the volunteer's learning process
  • Supervise and assess the volunteer's performance
  • Assist interns and volunteers in developing and achieving personal learning objectives
  • Offer feedback to the interns and volunteers on a regular basis
  • Monitor interns and volunteers
  • Complete weekly formal written evaluations and email Executive Director
  • Manage interns and volunteers
  • Weekly meetings with interns and volunteers


Occupation and Moreover:
As an internship and volunteer supervisor your task is to introduce, accompany and coach the volunteers in their work area. The positive evolution of these roles depends very much on your support you play a key role in the effectiveness of the process.

Qualifications

Qualifications Required:

  • Demonstration of experience with standard Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to interact professionally on all levels: staff, board, interns, and volunteer
  • Careful attention to detail and organization
  • Ability to prioritize and manage competing request
  • College graduate or in a Master's program
