Monroe Tractor is a well-known and respected construction equipment and agricultural equipment dealer with over 75 years of experience servicing the northeastern US. We are seeking a Sprayer & Application Product Specialist to provide after-sales technical support for sprayer and application equipment across our territory. This role supports customers, branch service teams, and sales staff through equipment inspections, setup and startup assistance, calibration support, troubleshooting, technician training, operator training, demonstrations, and parts and service opportunity development.

The ideal candidate will serve as a technical resource and field support specialist for sprayer and application equipment while helping scale support across Utica, NY to New England (MA, CT, & VT areas).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-site inspections of sprayer and application equipment.
  • Help create service opportunities by identifying repair, maintenance, calibration, software update, and parts needs.
  • Provide phone, remote, and on-site troubleshooting support and coaching for technicians on sprayer and application equipment questions from customers.
  • Act as a first-line escalation point for advanced application-related service questions.
  • Diagnose and train technicians on technical, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and operational issues and help determine the best path to resolution.
  • Support machine setup, commissioning, and startup for new equipment sales.
  • Help ensure customers and branch teams understand equipment operation, system settings, and best practices.
  • Support software updates, product improvements, and operational adjustments as needed.
  • Deliver operator training for farmers, commercial operators, and other end users.
  • Provide customer support during the early stages of equipment ownership or after major service events when additional guidance is needed.
  • Assist with equipment demonstrations in support of sales efforts.
  • Take customer parts orders related to sprayer and application equipment.
  • Accurately enter and coordinate parts orders through the designated branch or process.
  • Build strong working relationships with customers to encourage ongoing after-sales support activity.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with sprayer, application, agricultural, or related equipment service and support.
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic ability across mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and operational systems.
  • Experience supporting customers, technicians, or dealer/service teams in a field or technical support role.
  • Ability to train technicians and operators in both field and shop environments.
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently in the field and collaboratively with branch teams, service managers, and sales staff.
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly to customer sites, branch locations, demonstrations, and events.
