Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Production Operator to join our client's manufacturing team. This position is responsible for providing the finishing touches to products before they are shipped to customers.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in accuracy, and has a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate will be comfortable learning new processes, operating equipment, using a computer, and working as part of a team.
Responsibilities

  • Prepare finished products for shipment to customers.
  • Perform visual and dimensional inspections to ensure products meet quality standards.
  • Tape, slit, roll, fold, and package finished products.
  • Follow work instructions and established procedures for production processes.
  • Prepare pre-mixes and operate machinery and equipment used in production, including belt filter, spray dryer, small-dot, and stripe coating processes.
  • Enter production information and data into the company's ERP system.
  • Monitor products and processes for quality and accuracy.
  • Follow all company quality policies, procedures, and work instructions.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable ISO, FDA, and company requirements.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
  • Use equipment, materials, and supplies responsibly.
  • Work effectively with team members to meet production goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn and use an ERP system.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow written work instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and willing to learn.
  • Flexible and able to perform a variety of production tasks.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a team environment.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience is required.
  • Experience with word processing, spreadsheets, databases, or other computer applications is helpful.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

  • Manufacturing/warehouse environment with temperatures that may vary depending on the season and specific work area.
  • Position may require standing, walking, sitting, reaching, bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing, and other physical activities.
  • Regular use of hands to handle products, tools, equipment, and controls.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
  • Safety equipment such as safety glasses and hearing protection may be required.
  • Some mandatory overtime may be required based on production needs.
Pay: $17.50/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
