What does a spray foam installer do?

As a spray foam installer, you use specialized equipment to install foam insulation in walls. In this career, you can work in both residential and commercial buildings. Your duties include using a hose and compressor to spray insulation between walls and building exteriors. You can also work in attics, ceilings, crawl spaces, basements, and other hard-to-reach areas. You monitor the amount of material that you spray to ensure proper insulation. During some jobs, your responsibilities include making a hole in a wall to spray insulation. Some insulation installers work with fiberglass batts as well as sprayable foam.

What does a spray foam installer do?

A Spray Foam Installer is responsible for applying spray polyurethane foam insulation to walls, roofs, and other surfaces in residential, commercial, or industrial buildings. Their main duties include preparing surfaces, setting up insulation equipment, mixing foam components, and ensuring even application for maximum energy efficiency. They also follow safety protocols to protect themselves and the environment from chemical exposure.
