As a spray foam installer, you use specialized equipment to install foam insulation in walls. In this career, you can work in both residential and commercial buildings. Your duties include using a hose and compressor to spray insulation between walls and building exteriors. You can also work in attics, ceilings, crawl spaces, basements, and other hard-to-reach areas. You monitor the amount of material that you spray to ensure proper insulation. During some jobs, your responsibilities include making a hole in a wall to spray insulation. Some insulation installers work with fiberglass batts as well as sprayable foam.
