Caesars Sportsbook is hiring for In Play Traders to join our team in Las Vegas, NV. Ever wonder who is the mastermind behind your favorite sport wagers? We are looking for a sports enthusiast who is excited to immerse themselves in the world of sports trading. Our Trading team has gone through rapid growth over the past few years and is looking to grow even faster by hiring the best and brightest. We pride ourselves in empowering each other to do our best work and as a sports trader, you'll collaborate across teams and work in a fast-paced environment which will sharpen your sports knowledge. In addition, you will work alongside a team of experienced sports traders to help you learn from some of the best in the industry.
Responsibilities
  • Leverage your expertise in sports to set up In-Play markets and product via our technology platform
  • Identify and highlight significant customers during live sporting games and keep track of sharp betting action
  • Use your critical thinking skills with our advanced predictive models to set lines and approve wagers during hundreds of live sporting events
  • Be always the first to know in the sporting world to manage risk and liability of pre-game events
  • An atmosphere to try new approaches and research the latest technologies
  • Assist with reporting requirements as directed by management team

Qualifications
  • Passion and knowledge about a wide range of sports
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills - ability to understand and calculate odds
  • Commercial acumen - analytical skills with the ability to identify and create opportunities for growth
  • Results-driven - thrives on improving results and profitability
  • Quick thinking and decisive - ability to make trading decisions without hesitation
  • Team player - ability to rapidly build relationships and to work in collaboration with other teams and functions across the business
  • Scheduling flexibility to work any shift, any day including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to take direction from Trading team management
  • Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to obtain and/or eligible for Gaming Licenses

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
In addition to the minimum requirements above, a keen working knowledge of sports betting and the calculation of odds is beneficial. Although trading experience is preferred, it is not necessary. All traders have the potential to generate or lose income for our business, so good mathematical and risk assessment skills are essential to succeed.
