THE RUNDOWN
Playfly Sports is looking for an Analyst, Strategic Consulting & Research to join our team in Atlanta, GA.
As a Strategic Consulting and Research (SC&R) Analyst in Playfly Ticketing, Premium, & Hospitality's Consulting & Analytics department this Analyst will support and facilitate consulting and research work for our partners. Properties may reach out to the Strategy team to drive revenue and improve their bottom line, more fully understand their fanbase, or for due diligence and guidance on major strategic decisions.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
  • Act as the main project contributor for strategy engagements
  • Design initial research processes alongside the wider Strategic Consulting & Research team
  • Perform market and fan research
  • Clean, organize, and analyze primary data sets
  • Create and assist in presenting research reports, findings, and recommendations to partners
  • Act as a point of contact for current partners, organizing project status meetings as appropriate
  • Assist the wider Strategic Consulting & Research team in the execution of growth and development strategies
  • Assist in business development efforts by leveraging relevant insights from previous client engagements
  • Bolster Playfly's industry leader positioning through market research and contributions to thought pieces/white papers for publication in relevant trade journals and, when applicable, presented at industry conferences
  • Identify and analyze published research and data regarding marketing, fan experience, and ticketing within the sport and entertainment industry
  • Stay informed on research tools and trends
  • Maintain internal data sources to further Consulting & Analytics' and Playfly's overall industry knowledgebase
  • Perform other research and consulting projects, such as internal Playfly surveys, which are not outlined above
  • Other job-related duties as assigned

WHAT YOU'LL BRING
  • Bachelor's degree in Market Research, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field (preferably quantitative in nature) required
  • Experience with survey design platforms (e.g., Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey, Alchemer, etc.) required
  • Experience synthesizing disorganized data and reporting findings required
  • Experience with secondary research practices/databases required
  • Experience working as a market researcher or in a related position preferred
  • Experience presenting research findings directly to key decision makers preferred
  • Experience with statistical analysis and reporting packages (e.g. SPSS, SAS, etc.), databases (e.g. SQL, etc.), and programming languages (e.g. Python, R, VBA, etc.) preferred
  • Willingness to learn new applications/software tools
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines for concurrent projects and clients
  • An enthusiastic and inquisitive approach to quantitative and qualitative data analysis
  • An ability to learn quickly and work well both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • An ability to design compelling and appealing deliverables using charts, graphs, tables, etc.
  • High Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Passion for and/or experience working in the sport and entertainment industry
