Interns typically assist experienced coaches and trainers in developing and implementing strength, conditioning, and injury prevention programs for athletes. This role may involve working with various sports teams, conducting fitness assessments, monitoring athlete progress, and learning about nutrition and recovery strategies. The internship provides valuable practical exposure and can be a stepping stone to a career in sports science, coaching, or athletic training.
