Work Environment

This full-time Physical Therapist position is onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility located in Fairfax, Virginia. The environment is designed to be efficient and supportive, with modern equipment and facilities that enable optimal patient care. Our team-oriented approach encourages collaboration amongst our healthcare providers, ensuring that every team member feels valued and empowered to contribute to the highest standards of practice. Operating primarily on a Monday to Friday schedule, there may also be some weekend availability required to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, the Physical Therapist will:

• Assess patient care needs and collaboratively develop individualized treatment plans and therapeutic goals.
• Implement a variety of evidence-based treatment techniques while educating and supporting patients and their families throughout the rehabilitation process.
• Engage in cost management and staff management while contributing to the overall success of the department through collaboration and performance improvement initiatives.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, positively impacting patient satisfaction and department effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population predominantly includes athletes and active individuals experiencing sports-related injuries or looking to enhance their performance capabilities. The role requires the therapist to be adept at understanding the unique needs of this demographic, adapting rehabilitation approaches to align with their specific goals and aspirations. This focus ensures that our services are relevant and beneficial, allowing patients to return to their desired activities as quickly and safely as possible.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess the following:

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a related field.
• A current, valid physical therapy license in the State of Virginia.
• Current CPR certification, required at the time of hire.
• The ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive demeanor.
• Dependability and flexibility to adapt to changing situations promptly.
• Strong teamwork orientation and the ability to maintain professionalism in all interactions.
• Excellent analytical skills alongside strong organizational abilities and effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Preferred Experience
