Setting: Outpatient Orthopedic Clinic with Affiliated Surgery Center

Call: Shared rotation among the group

Position Overview

A well-established, physician-led orthopedic group in West Phoenix, AZ is seeking a fellowship-trained Sports Medicine Orthopedic Surgeon with a strong focus on advanced shoulder care, including arthroplasty-adjacent and complex shoulder procedures. Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of shoulder-related conditions, including sports injuries, trauma, and degenerative disorders
  • Provide advanced shoulder care, including arthroscopy, reconstruction, and coordination of shoulder arthroplasty cases as appropriate
  • Manage all aspects of preoperative and postoperative patient care
  • Collaborate closely with on-site physical therapy teams to optimize patient outcomes
  • Optionally provide sports knee care and in-office procedures (e.g., ultrasound-guided injections)
  • Maintain detailed, accurate documentation within the EMR system
  • Participate in practice development and quality improvement initiatives
Candidate Qualifications
  • Fellowship-trained in Sports Medicine
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible (ABOS or applicable board for Sports Medicine)
  • Eligible for Arizona medical licensure (MD or DO)
  • Strong expertise in shoulder pathology and advanced procedural care
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
