About Pinnacle Sports

Pinnacle Sports is a premier multi-sport and recreation facility serving athletes, families, teams, and organizations throughout Northeast Ohio. Our facility hosts a wide variety of youth and adult leagues, instructional programs, camps, tournaments, rentals, and special events across multiple sports.

With a fast-paced and diverse operation, Pinnacle provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sports programming, event operations, customer service, facility management, and business operations.


Position Overview

Pinnacle Sports is seeking a motivated and dependable intern for the Fall/Winter season. This internship is designed to provide meaningful, hands-on experience for students interested in sports management, business, recreation, event operations, marketing, or facility management.

The intern will have the opportunity to assist with a variety of programs, leagues, events, and day-to-day operations throughout the facility. Depending on their schedule and internship requirements, the individual may also serve as a point person in the building during weekday and/or weekend shifts, helping oversee facility operations and ensuring programs and activities run smoothly.


Responsibilities May Include

  • Assisting with the operation of youth and adult sports programs, leagues, and events
  • Supporting day-to-day facility operations and customer service
  • Serving as a point person for staff, participants, coaches, teams, and guests during assigned shifts
  • Helping monitor programs and activities throughout the facility
  • Assisting with event setup, organization, and execution
  • Learning and supporting various aspects of sports facility management and operations
  • Completing special projects based on the internโ€™s background, interests, and skill set, while aligning with Pinnacle Sports' current business needs


Schedule & Commitment

The time commitment for this internship can be flexible and will be determined based on the student's internship requirements, availability, and Pinnacle Sports' operational needs. Opportunities may be available during weekday evenings and weekends.
