Job description


Hi-Five Sports is a national organization dedicated to the development of children through sports. Our objective is not only to teach the fundamentals of a sport, but to teach children teamwork, sportsmanship and responsibility through athletics.


We are looking for physical education professionals and coaches  to implement our \Hi Five At Home\ curriculum. Coaches will go to the homes of our customers and run a \Hi-Five\ sports camp that will adhere to the standards of both our organization and the CDC. 


Each \camp\ will have between 3-8 children. and run in blocks of two hours at a time. Each coach will provide their own transportation  to and from the location. It is vital that each coach has the ability to communicate with the children they teach as well as the parents of the children.
Hi-Five runs programs throughout Westchester and NYC and our programs include after-school classes, recess enrichment, sports clinics and camps.



Requirements:

We are looking for candidates with experience as a Physical Education teacher or coach.


 Have transportation to drive around Westchester and to store the equipment that is needed to run a successful program.


Comfortable working with and communicating with both children and parents.


Ability to follow curriculum and tailor specific lessons to various developmental levels


. Enjoys being creative, flexible, and innovative in working with  nursery and elementary age children.


Responsible, dedicated, and confident individuals with a strong work ethic.


Up to date First-Aid/CPR certification.

Additional Requirements:

Each coach will be required to run camp according to CDC guidelines. They will be required to wear a mask and practice safe social distancing when teaching.
