Sports Specialist/ After School Program

Are you passionate about working with children and making a positive impact on their lives? Do you have experience coaching elementary age children? If so, we have an exciting part-time opportunity for you as a Youth Sports Coach at Hi-Five Sports Club!

At Hi-Five Sports Club, we believe in the power of sports to change children's lives. Our mission is to provide the highest quality youth sports programming with the utmost convenience for parents. We have been proudly providing families with fun and transformative Youth Sports programming for nearly 3 decades. Our unique approach to sports programming gives families a memorable and delightful experience. We see team sports as a vehicle for improving the current and future well-being of children. By joining our team, you will be part of a movement to help children develop a love for the game and learn important life lessons.

Job Type: Part-time

Requirements:

  • Experience working with elementary age children.
  • Ability to motivate students to get excited about learning
  • Comfortable working with and communicating with children, parents, and administration
  • Make recommendations for appropriate changes and resources
  • Enjoys being creative, flexible, and innovative in working with elementary age children.
  • Responsible, dedicated, and accountable individuals with a strong work ethic.
  • Up to date First-Aid/CPR certification.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and preschool educational methods.
  • Ability to act as a mediator between children.
  • Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms and outdoor activities.
  • Candidate must have excellent communication and instructional skills.
