Job description

We are located in the center of the 757 and offer lots of waterfront fun, rich and diverse history, and a vibrant restaurant scene. The purpose of the class is to promote tourism in the City of Hampton, promote and retain convention, sports, and leisure visitors for the purpose of fostering economic growth and development. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Business, Sports Management, Event Management, Parks, Recreation & Leisure Services, Public Relations or other related field.

Requires three (3) years of industry-related experience in sports event, sales and servicing, or closely related experience. A combination of education and experience may be considered for this position. Must possess a valid driver's license and must have and maintain a satisfactory driving record based on the City of Hampton's criteria.

Must successfully pass a criminal background check related to this position before any offer of employment or promotion. Additional Requirements Requires effective communication with internal and external customers. Requires local travel and use of personal vehicle.
