Becoming a part of Paramount means joining a team of passionate people who not only recognize the power of content but also enjoy a touch of fun and uniqueness. Senior Lead Product Manager, Data Delivery & Insights
About the role
This is a uniquely high-impact Lead PM role at the center of CBS Sports' data and statistics engine. You will shape how real-time sports data moves from source systems into the fan experiences that define game day, from scores and stats to betting-adjacent and insight-rich product surfaces across the ecosystem.
We are seeking a Senior Lead Product Manager to join the CBS Sports Data Delivery and Insights team. This role will lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution of sports data products and integrations that power downstream experiences across our ecosystem. The ideal candidate brings strong domain expertise in sports data, including betting and gaming, combined with technical fluency and a proven track record of delivering complex, data-driven products in agile environments.
This is a highly cross-functional role requiring close collaboration with engineering, analytics, commercial stakeholders, and external data vendors. Success in this role requires the ability to translate complex data infrastructure and integrations into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.
What you will do
• Own product strategy and quarterly roadmap execution for sports data delivery and insights capabilities.
• Define product requirements for live data pipelines, APIs, and downstream integrations that support fan-facing and business-critical use cases.
• Partner closely with engineering on architecture, sequencing, and tradeoffs across real-time and near-real-time systems.
• Lead vendor and data-provider relationships, including integration planning, issue resolution, and quality management.
• Drive alignment across analytics, product, editorial, commercial, and operations teams to ensure data products meet performance and business needs.
What success looks like
• Data products ship on time, with measurable value to downstream consumers and fan experiences.
• Real-time data integrations meet reliability expectations and operational standards.
• Roadmaps are clear, outcome-focused, and consistently delivered each quarter.
• Stakeholders trust your ability to simplify complexity and drive decision quality.
• Cross-functional teams can act on data confidently because product definitions and delivery are clear.
Required qualifications
• 10+ years of product management experience, ideally in sports, betting, gaming, or other data-driven platforms.
• Strong domain knowledge of sports data ecosystems, including live data feeds, betting markets, gaming mechanics, and related workflows.
• Technical fluency to partner effectively with engineering teams across APIs, integrations, and data architecture discussions.
• Hands-on experience working with APIs and data integrations, including tools such as Postman to test and validate endpoints.
• Experience managing third-party vendors and data providers.
• Proven ability to define, prioritize, and manage quarterly roadmaps.
• Familiarity with real-time data systems or streaming architectures.
• Working knowledge of data governance, SLAs, and compliance considerations in betting and gaming environments.
• Background in analytics, data platforms, or insights-focused products.
What it is like to work here
You will help shape a product organization in motion. Our teams are intentionally evolving toward builder ownership, fixed cycles, and sharper bets. The environment rewards people who can simplify complexity, coach with intent, and keep momentum without sacrificing quality.
The domain is also uniquely energizing. Sports fandom creates high expectations and immediate signal. The work is visible, meaningful, and tied to moments fans care deeply about.
Why here, why now
CBS Sports Digital is in the middle of something uncommon: a deliberate transformation of how a major sports media product organization works. We've built Frame Up, our own operating framework around shaped bets, fixed cycles, builder ownership, and outcome-centered success. We're building a culture where every person in PDE, regardless of discipline, operates as a product builder.
We're building products that reach millions of passionate sports fans, and the bar for what those experiences can be has never been higher. AI fluency isn't a novelty here. It's a baseline expectation. Every builder uses AI as a co-pilot. The tools have changed what's possible, and we're building a team that takes full advantage of that shift to create experiences for fans that weren't possible before.
If you're an experienced product manager who builds great experiences, moves fast with real evidence, and wants to own outcomes for one of the biggest sports apps in the country, this is the role.
