OVERVIEW OF THE COMPANY

Fox TV StationsFOX Television Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the U.S. These include stations located in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas, or DMAs, and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago). Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week. These stations leverage viewer, distributor and advertiser demand for the FOX Network's national content.JOB DESCRIPTION

The Digital Content Creator develops creative content across a wide range of mediums, suggests new innovative ways of delivering digital content, and leverages social media platforms and tools to deliver engaging content to views. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following duties.

Duties/Responsibilities
Create compelling, UX-focused content related to news, events, and topics relevant to local users and beyond, including text stories, photos/graphics, live streaming content, breaking news, and social media elements.
Engage and build loyalty among communities.
Serve as liaison to newsroom, ensuring digital and social dominance.
Reach and engage users on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and beyond.
Use social listening and analytics tools like Crowd Tangle, Google Analytics, Chartbeat, and Share Rocket to make informed editorial decisions.
Work with the FOX TV Stations' Group Content Team and other FTS markets to distribute high-interest stories at scale.
Adhere to set group standards.
Monitor real-time analytics.
Demonstrate responsibility for all equipment issued by FOX.
Comply with all FOX Corporate computer requirements.
Comply with all FOX Corporate and station policies.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Abilities
Proficiency with MS Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Proficiency with content management systems, video publishing, live streaming, and digital analytics tools.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong social media skills.
Compelling writing, storytelling, and copy-editing skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently under daily pressure and successfully manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Education and Experience
Minimum three (3) years' experience developing and publishing content, including news, on digital and social platforms preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Broadcasting, Communications, or related field with emphasis on digital publishing preferred.
Video and photo editing experience preferred.

Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working at a computer.
Regularly stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
Occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $81,000.00-91,897.73 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
